Peralada brings you another summer of great music

The International Music Festival of Castillo de Peralada celebrates its 26th anniversary with a program focused on opera, music and dance. Starting on July 17 until Wednesday August 22, the Parque del Castillo Auditorium will host unique and unrepeatable events like the Berlin Deutsche Oper with Mozart’s Don Giovanni, the presentation in Catalonia of Sondheim’s Follies or the lyrical performance of Jonas Kaufmann, who will close the festival accompanied by the Orchestra of Cadaqués with a program that include works by Verdi, Wagner, Bizet, Mascagni, Ponchielli and Giorgano.

In the area of dance, a defining element of the festival, two national performances stand out: La Pepa, an incomparable tribute to the Spanish Constitution of 1812 by famed dancer Sara Baras and Ángel Corella, who will present his splendid Barcelona Ballet.
