The peace of the Lleida Pyrenees

Espot Esquí, the perfect resort to enjoy a family holiday without the crowds and at a good price.

Skiing and family

Ski Pallars-Espot Esquí is a Pallars Sobirà resort which opened in 1967. It is especially appreciated by skiers looking for peace and quiet with a family atmosphere.

This resort has three stadiums approved by the International Ski Federation (FIS). It has also gained recognition in recent years for organizing competitions at the highest level, which confirms the excellence and quality of its slopes and facilities. That’s why since 2009, it hosts several competitions of the Telemark World Cup. Recently, one of the stadiums has been prepared to host Super G competitions, a step towards confirming the goal of this ski resort to become a major player in hosting major competitions.

For kids

The Lleida resort has installed a playground for the use of all families with young children. Located in the resort at an altitude of 2,000m, it is designed for children between 3 and 6 years to enjoy their first experience in the snow. Staff look after the children and ensure they enjoy their stay in the snow with games and activities.

Meanwhile, parents can discover the other corners of the resort. It has 22 kilometres of pistes for all levels, with direct routes to the slope surrounded by forests: surroundings that can only be found in Espot Esquí.

Quality snow all winter

All the resort’s slopes face northwest, which ensures good snowfalls. But if the winter does not cooperate with snowfalls, they plan on increasing their snow production capacity, which currently covers 60 % of the resort. This would guarantee quality snow throughout the ski season. Furthermore, SkiPallars-Espot Esquí is a ski resort conscious to protect the environment and each summer they make adjustments to honor that.

Three resorts and one pass

Espot Esquí forms part of Ski Pallars, which means the three El Pallars resorts can be run together: Port Ainé, Espot Tavascan and Espot Esquí. The scenery is fascinating and is a must-see, and three resorts with just one ski pass allows you to enjoy their 54.5 km of runs. There is skiing for everyone in Port Ainé, family skiing in Espot Esquí and a high mountain environment for downhill skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing in Tavascan.
