The youngest cross-country ski resort

Bosc Virós ski resort is in el Pallars Sobirà in Vall Ferrera, one of the most unspoilt valleys of the Pyrenees. Bosc Virós is in the Alt Pirineu Nature Park, the largest in Catalonia, and is a resort that provides you with a unique way of experiencing the snow, sport and nature. The park features a variety of typical Pyrenean scenery, making it a into rich and varied nature area.

Nature and sport

Designed as a cross-country ski resort, Bosc Virós has 28 km of classic circuits. The resort has two bases. One is the Gall Fer hostel at a height of 1,700 metres. This is a small renovated building which is fully equipped and very cosy. The other is at Bordes de Virós, next to the chapel of Sant Lliser. It offers accommodation in the Gall Fer hostel, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. It can be used to spend a few days in the high mountains and try out different snow sports.

Bosc Virós is also home to many other activities. Standing right opposite the resort Yeti Emotions offers a wide variety of sports to be done amongst pines and oaks. It has 10 km of snowshoe routes, 12 km dog sled circuits and a run adapted for easily manoeuvrable goshky sleds that can carry up to two people.

Have fun learning

Bosc Virós is a place to learn to respect nature and have a great time. Environmental workshops are run and there are orienteering circuits where you have to find clues hidden in the woods with a map and compass while walking on snowshoes. Environmental workshops are aimed at children and young people. These programmes seek to raise awareness of and respect for the environment. They are a mixture of educational content and entertainment.

Customised ski passes

This season Catalan cross-country ski resorts are launching a digital ticket system that will be more convenient for skiers and allow them to personalise their passes and obtain the offer that best suits them.
