Snow overload on the Pyrenees

Last week’s copious snowfall laid up to three meters of snow on the ski resorts, where they are still grooming the slopes so skiers can enjoy the snow under the best conditions possible. One thing is for sure though: Snow is guaranteed until the end of the winter season.

Baqueira Beret.

Such heavy snowfall has been elusive for the past decade, and ski resorts are rejoicing at the fact that those three meters of snow can be increased if we are to trust the weather forecast.

La Molina.

A new cold front has entered Iberian Peninsula. It should bring intermittent snowfall until Monday.

Ski resorts of Pallars, Espot Esquí and Port Ainé have also registered heavy snowfall.

Eager skiers are already enjoying the slopes as if they were skiing off-slope. You can do that too. Just come by any Catalan ski resort.
